Nintendo In A Nutshell

You probably seen this logo in red or gray on a game like Pokemon or on a game console like the Wii. Now for the over complicated explanation of it. Nintendo wasn’t always a video game company . In fact it started as a card company! Although later when arcades became popular -  Donkey Kong was released in arcades and was a big hit. So after a few lawsuits about King Kong that Nintendo won they released the NES which stopped the video game crash of 1988. After that Super Mario Bros was released which revolutionized everything. Then sometime later the SNES was released as a successor , Metroid came out and some more Mario games later and then the virtual boy was released! Everyone was like so amazed because of how terrible it was! Then the game-boy and Pokemon came , then after a ton of DS’s and a time skip we reach the Wii! Which was a big success and some more Ds’s the Wii u came out! And now - the present came!
I know I didn’t mention a bunch of other consoles like the GameCube and the unfinished play station which Sony used instead and how they used cartridges until the Wii came out or all the other Pokemon , Mario , metroid , star fox games and how I didn’t mention one of there biggest successors - super smash bros! I also didn't mention all the extra accessories like the zapper , nuncuck ( from the wii ) and the game and watch.

Here's a timeline of most of the consoles if you don't want to read that wall of text.
